World Music Day 2026: A Tribute in Melody
The morning assembly on 23 June 2026 came alive with melody and meaning as National Public School Whitefield marked World Music Day under the theme ‘Echoes of Legends – A Tribute to Music Legends.’ Students and music faculty honoured iconic composers and singers through vocal and instrumental performances on keyboard, guitar and percussion, weaving together a vibrant and soulful musical experience. In the true spirit of reaching out to timeless traditions, reaching high through artistic excellence and reaching beyond the ordinary, the celebration reached a memorable crescendo with the Principal’s participation, inspiring students to cherish music not merely as an art form, but as a timeless legacy to be preserved and celebrated.
