Class 2C presented an engaging assembly on the theme ‘Switch Off & Step Out’, highlighting the importance of using technology wisely and maintain a healthy balance between studies, entertainment, health and time with family and friends.
The assembly began with a warm introduction that focussed on the right usage of gadgets. A meaningful skit showed how excessive video gaming can affect studies, health, outdoor activities and family time. The message encouraged children to enjoy technology responsibly without letting it replace real-life experiences.
The students then presented a lively group song emphasizing the joy and importance of running, jumping, playing and dancing outdoors. The Thought of the Day reinforced the value of maintaining balance in our daily lives. A cheerful dance performance added energy and further conveyed the message of staying active and enjoying life beyond screens.
The assembly concluded with a pledge, where the students promised to use gadgets wisely, spend more time outdoors, balance study, play and rest and care for their physical and mental well-being. A heartfelt Vote of Thanks brought the programme to a meaningful close.
Overall, the assembly delivered a simple yet powerful message: Switch Off the Screens, Step Out into the real world and make time for learning, play, health, family and friends.
