Storytelling Session

People Forget Facts, but They Remember Stories

The library team at National Public School Whitefield hosted a captivating storytelling session with the distinguished Dr. Bhumija Panchal Patil. Celebrated for her diverse talents as an author, social activist, artist, and educator, Dr. Bhumija enthralled the young audience with her dynamic storytelling, drawn from her latest book, The Tiga Trustees: Manu and Eva in Cance Villa.

Throughout the session, Dr. Bhumija used her hand-crafted, vivid illustrations to bring the story to life. Each richly detailed picture drew students into the narrative, enhancing their engagement. In an interactive segment, students were invited to select their favourite unhealthy foods and brainstorm ways to transform them into healthier alternatives, fostering a discussion on healthy eating habits that complemented the themes of her book.

As a dedicated social activist, Dr. Bhumija emphasized the crucial role of environmental conservation and the significance of planting trees. By intertwining health education with environmental awareness through her storytelling, the event culminated into a comprehensive and enriching experience.

The storytelling session proved both insightful and captivating, creating a lasting impression on the students.
