NWMUN ‘24 

The maiden NWMUN was conducted in National Public School Whitefield campus on Saturday, 22 June 2024 and Sunday, 23 June 2024. An astounding strength of 206 students from 12 schools participated in the event. The delegates gathered, to put their best foot forward for a unique initiative, a concept, that has undoubtedly become the intellectual battleground of diplomacy and debate. 

The highlight of the event was the initiative and hard work displayed by NPS Whitefield students who planned, implemented and worked round the clock to make the event a huge success.

The first day saw rousing speeches and intense debating, at the various committee venues, by the delegates who put their views and suggestions through to the others. The second day saw more action as the delegates wielded their verbal weapons to make their point. Topics as varied as humanitarian impacts of traditional court systems in Africa to prevention of the Holocene Extinction were taken up for debate and discussion.

NWMUN ‘24 was a memorable two-day event that had a lot of discourse, debate, drama, and fun, and set an excellent precedent for many more such events in the future.
