Student Council Election

“Democracy is ceremonial; its feast, its great function is the election”.

National Public School Whitefield conducted its maiden Student Council Election on Friday, 7 June 2024. The objective of the election was to provide a platform for students to develop leadership qualities, by planning and organizing events that contribute to school spirit and community welfare. The Election Committee planned for the election down to the last detail. Nominations were registered, candidates selected, and the chosen candidates impressed all with their campaign speeches a few days prior to the election.

All candidates on this remarkable journey of election, displayed impeccable confidence as they captivated the attention of all voters.

Polling Day saw the students of Classes 9-12 displaying their exuberance for the democratic process as they waited patiently for their turn to cast their votes. Voting was completed in a seamless manner. This exercise was yet another example of how meticulous planning and teamwork leads to the successful culmination of any task undertaken.
