“Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn” -Benjamin Franklin
Students of Class 1 visited “Rangoli Gardens” as part of their field trip. It was a wonderful journey, where they witnessed a village life through a lot of realistic models of humans and animlas with different kinds of structures such as kutcha houses. They also had an in hand experience of making pottery and a horse cart ride. This filled each one with great excitement and enthusiasm. The walk through the place made it feel like a real visit to the village, all the way from the good old times where students attended classes sitting on floors to hospitals that had used only ayurvedic medicines to cure sicknesses, vegetable market, weaving houses and etc.,. This was a very informative visit as the students gathered a lot of information on how the village life is in contrast to present city life.
