Yoga is a practice that brings joy, health, and peace from within, and it deepens a sense of continuous connection between an individual's inner consciousness and the external world. Every year, on June 21, people across the globe celebrate the International Day of Yoga. This year, the 8th edition of the International Day of Yoga was observed at NPS Whitefield in the offline mode with great zeal and enthusiasm. A multifaceted approach was adopted to commemorate the day, which began with an informative Assembly, followed by a Mass Yoga session, and an inquisitive Quiz to tickle their brain cells. A formal gathering of the faculty members and support staff was organized which helped them unwind and relax and unravel the crucial role that Yoga can play in de-stressing and the long term benefits they can avail, when practised daily. In all it was a day that truly helped everyone realize and appreciate the myriad ways in which Yoga can have a positive and healthier impact on our lives.
