Pre-Primary - International Literacy Day

Literacy skill development plays a vital part during the child’s Early years. It helps children in socializing with others, making decisions and developing independence. Teachers always encourage children to read, as it enhances their imagination and cognitive skills.

Children of Pre-Primary celebrated ‘International Literacy Day’ on September 8, 2021 by displaying and talking about their favourite book. They spoke enthusiastically about the cover page of the book and described it in their own words. They were beaming with pride as they showed the colorful pictures of the book and spoke about the stories of prince and princess, animals in the jungle etc.

There was a lot of excitement throughout this event. It gave immense pleasure to teachers, to hear the children speak and interact with their peers.
