"WE MUST FIND TIME TO STOP AND THANK THE PEOPLE WHO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN OUR LIVES”.
Children of KG1 were taught about the various ‘Community helpers’ and their contribution in helping the society. As a humble gesture, students wanted to thank them, by giving a ‘Thank you’ card. They made a flower by folding colourful papers and pasted it neatly on a card. They wrote ‘Thank you’ inside the card with their own handwriting. The activity kept the children engrossed, as the teacher gave step by step instructions to turn a sheet of paper into a beautiful card. The children were excited to give these cards to their house help, drivers, security guards, gardeners etc. This activity not only enhanced their gross motor and creative skills, it also built a sense of gratitude towards all the community helpers, who work hard to keep our society safe and clean.
