Freedom is the open window through which pours the sunlight of the Human spirit and human dignity. To celebrate this freedom in its truest sense as upheld by our Nation in its 73rd year as a Sovereign state, we at National Public School Whitefield, hoisted the National Flag to mark the celebrations for the day.
The Director Mr. Vivek Garg, Principal Mrs. Alka Gupta and staff members were present for the flag hoisting in the School premises. The Director Mr. Vivek Garg exhorted all present to aspire for empathetic success and ethical excellence in students.
Principal Mrs. Alka Gupta reiterated the responsibility that each of us as teachers and students have to ensure that we retain both our consciousness towards our rights, and fulfill our duty of raising students into future citizens, who are both proud but respectful, so that our vision, of creating a better and brighter India, becomes a reality.
What followed was but a visual treat that showcased both the tradition and culture of India along with the vibrancy of the students, who enthusiastically put forth a cultural extravaganza. Yoga, various dance forms, Drill routines all formed a wonderful tapestry of the vivid and colourful programme. The perfectly synchronised beats and the exceptional performances of the students stole everyone’s hearts.
The programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks and the reassuring belief that the India we all live in is one we need to create where opportunities are plenty and divisions few. A freedom where we can live in respect and enhance the freedom of others.
